Budland School is situated in a village near Nagarkot, in the Kavre district only 40km from the epicentre of the second large earthquake that devastated Nepal, shortly after the first one. The first collosal earthquake came on 25.04.15 and the second followed on 07.05.15 with no mercy bringing most of the village to the ground, and many more like it. The buildings that survived, are heavily damaged and not all safe.
